Chris trained at The Arts Educational School in London and graduated in 2002. Chris first met Shelley in 2001 when they performed together in Panto over in Belfast. Shelley played Princess Jasmine and Chris played the role of Aladdin. Ten years later Chris’s CV landed on Shelley’s door step and now another ten years have past and Chris still has the pleasure of teaching for Shelley at Steppin Out. Many parents comment on their very special teaching bond together and many children have been taught by Chris over the last decade!

Before his time as a teacher Chris performed professionally for 10 years under the stage name Bennett Andrews.  He performed in TV Shows, Adverts, Plays and worked extensively in Musical Theatre. Chris performed in 4 different West End shows and worked in many different countries. Towards the end of his performing career Chris had the honour of spending time as the Resident director on “Grease” in The West End at the Piccadilly Theatre.
